School is scheduled to be back in session on Monday, Jan. 6. As we continue the school year and start a new calendar year, let's continue to focus on the importance of attendance to students' success. Arrive to Thrive: Attendance Matters to All of Us!

We are thankful to Educational Systems FCU and its employees for their generous donation of hats, gloves, socks and other winter items through the company's Warming Hearts and Hands initiative. The Division of Student & Family Services team of Wicomico County Public Schools (represented here by pupil personnel workers Knita Cartwright and Jacqualynn Deal) will make sure these donations are given to students and family members who need them.
Wicomico County Public Schools appreciates the generosity and compassion of our community. If your business or organization would like to support Wicomico students and families in some way, please contact us at comments@mywcps.org.

🎄✨ A big THANK YOU to the amazing team at Fruitland Police Department! ✨🎄
Your help in delivering the beautiful Christmas trees decorated by the talented students at Fruitland Primary has brought so much joy to local families. Seeing the smiles these trees bring is truly heartwarming, and it wouldn’t have been possible without your support and dedication to our community.
Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday season! 🎅🤶

Second grade students in Mrs. Charlton's class were able to make new friends in a new country this year - They became pen pals with students in Cambodia!
Mrs. Charlton's cousin is currently teaching English to students in Cambodia, and they were able to setup a pen pal connection. After patiently waiting for their mail to reach Cambodia, Mrs. Charlton's students were excited to hear the Cambodian students received their letters and gifts! Mrs. Charlton's students shared what they were learning in class and about their classroom routines. They look forward to continuing their friendship throughout the year with videos and mail!
