This week is National School Social Work Week. This celebrates school social workers across the country. It also highlights their vital role in helping students meet academic, social, and emotional challenges. School Social Workers are trained mental health professionals with a degree in social work. They provide services related to a person's social, emotional, and life adjustment to school and society. School Social Workers are the link between the home, school, and community providing direct and indirect services to students, families, and school personnel. We are so thankful for our own School Social Worker, Mrs. Raygor. She is a vital part of our school community and supports. As you see Mrs. Raygor please take a moment to celebrate and thank her.
