East Salisbury Elementary, James M. Bennett High and Salisbury Middle schools had an outstanding experience in Phoenix, Arizona, attending The Summit on PLC at Work. The entire team was grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with educators from across the country, deepen their understanding of Professional Learning Communities, and bring back strategies that will continue to strengthen teaching and learning in the three schools and in Wicomico County Public Schools. Team members returned to the Shore excited to implement what they learned to better support their students and staff.. Funding for this conference trip came from the School Improvement Grant from the Maryland State Department of Education..
