ASVAB TEST
Oct. 29, 8:00am – Cafeteria
Sign up in SchooLinks
Encouraging your child to take the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) can be a great step in helping them explore their future career options, even if they have no interest in joining the military. The ASVAB assesses skills in key areas like math, science, reading comprehension, and technical knowledge, offering a clear picture of your child's strengths. This information can be incredibly helpful in guiding them toward careers or educational paths that match their abilities. Many schools and career counselors use ASVAB results to help students explore different job fields, making it a valuable tool for your child's future planning.

Registration for this year’s AP exams begins on September 9th and ends November 1st, for Semester I or full year courses. The tests will be held between May 5th - 16th of 2025. This year, the cost of AP exams will be covered through MD Blueprint funding for courses that your student is enrolled in through WCPS. If your student registers late or registers for the exam and then decides not to take the test after the deadline above, College Board will charge a $40 fee, and WCPS will charge an additional processing fee.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact April Shiles, ashiles@mywcps.org, MMHS testing coordinator.

The Make Up Day for School Pictures is November 7th between 8am and 11am on the cafeteria stage.

What a game! Exciting and nail biting! JV and Varsity fought hard battles and rallies to beat Wi-Hi. Great teamwork and communication. #teamwork #Mardela #volleyball
