Good evening families, this is Mr. Dunn with several announcements for the week of June 2, 2024. Below we have summarized important details for this week.

Good morning 8th grade Families,

This is Margaret Morris, your child’s 8th grade School Counselor here to keep you in the loop.  Attached is the calendar of events for our last 2 weeks of school.  Please read over it carefully and if you have any questions, please email me at margmorr@wcboe.orgCountdown to 8th Grade Promotion Cal.docx

Library Books - All library books for all grade levels were due back by Friday, May 24th. Please have your child turn in any library as soon as possible. Grade 8 students will not be able to attend the 8th grade dance, and potentially their promotion ceremony, if lost books are not paid for or returned to our media center.

Make an Appointment Now for One of the Health Department’s Free Immunization Clinics in June, July, August and September

The Wicomico County Health Department will offer free immunization clinics for children in June, July, August, and September, by appointment only, at its main building on West Carroll Street in Salisbury.  This is a great opportunity for parents and guardians of incoming Kindergarteners and 7th Graders to make sure students are up to date on their immunizations well before they return for next school year. Call 410-543-6943 to make an appointment that fits your family’s summer schedule.

Students entering Kindergarten are required to have the 2nd varicella vaccination prior to entering Kindergarten.  Students entering 7 TH grade are required to have the Meningococcal and Tdap booster. Flyers are attached with more information.

Call 410-543-6943 to make an appointment for one of the morning clinics, offered from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on June 10, 17 and 24; July 8, and 29; August 5, 12 and 19;, Sept 3 and 5;and Oct 1, 3, 8, 10, 15 and 17). There will be clinics with extended hours (8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.) on Sept. 10, 12, 17, 19, 24 and 26.  Be sure to bring the child’s most recent vaccination record to the appointment.
