Wicomico County Public Schools will hold several Public Information sessions on Thursday September 19, 2024, and Thursday November 21, 2024, regarding a school boundary study. The intent of the school boundary study is to analyze our elementary schools' attendance boundaries and see what is needed to balance enrollment and relieve overcrowding in schools with the greatest needs. The study is being conducted by the independent company, Cropper GIS Consulting.

Below are the Dates, Times and Locations for the Information Sessions:

Attend Public Information Session #1 on Thursday September 19, 2024
Locations:
- 4 p.m. at Wicomico H.S. Auditorium (201 Long Avenue, Salisbury, MD)
- 6 p.m. at West Salisbury Elementary (1321 West Road, Salisbury, MD)

Attend Public Information Session #2 on Thursday November 21, 2024
Locations:
- 4 p.m. at Salisbury Middle School (607 Morris Street, Salisbury, MD)
- 6 p.m. at Prince Street Elementary (400 Prince Street, Salisbury, MD)

Cropper GIS Consulting will soon publish a website that will include the following:

- General Feedback Form
- Interactive Map
- Project Boundary Study Maps & Statistics

The 7-member Wicomico County Board of Education will then hold a work session regarding this school boundary study on Tuesday January 7th, 2025.
